The secret of immortality lies in our brain

The secret of immortality lies in our brains. so How will you save your mind for eternity?
“There is no death, gentlemen! There is no death! This can be proven. And to prove strictly logically. The human person is immortal!” – These words were spoken by Academician Vladimir Mikhailovich Bekhterev during his speech at a scientific conference in 1916.
The great scientist was sure that with the death of the body, a person does not disappear without a trace, and it is the human brain that keeps the secret of eternal life. But in order for life to please you to the last breath, and death not to frighten you, you need to make some efforts right now.
I really want to believe that after the death of the physical body, a person does not plunge into endless darkness, but continues to live thanks to his consciousness. The academician was sure that this was the case, but he could not prove his case due to the lack of technologies capable of looking into the structure of the human brain.
There is no complete answer to the question that tormented the great scientist even now, although many believe that humanity is on the verge of this discovery, which will turn the world upside down. But be that as it may, in order to enjoy eternity, you need to be of sound mind.
At the beginning of the 20th century, Bekhterev wrote that only 20% of people retain their minds in old age, while the rest turn into senile or become victims of other serious mental disorders. In order not to fall into 80% of these unfortunates, measures must be taken long before the onset of old age. What is the reason that some people retain a sharp mind and an excellent memory to the very grave, while others cease to reason sensibly and even recognize familiar faces? We can say that one of the most important reasons for this difference is a significant difference in the way people live.
Most people think that old age is a time of rest, which many people miss so much during their lives. People relax and calm down, which causes serious harm to their personalities. Interests are limited to a primitive set of “good food – plenty of sleep”, and intellectual work replaces watching TV and guessing crossword puzzles. At the same time, the level of requirements for others and life itself increases, which, of course, does not always find a response.
This results in irritation and, as a result, in the rejection of reality. Memory and the ability to think begin to suffer in the first place, and then a person begins to move away from the real world, plunging into his own, often cruel and unpleasant, filled with painful fantasies.
